Abstract:

To investigate the influencing of the particle size and ash content on coal slim pressure filtration, two new indicators characterizing filter effect were proposed, and dehydration character of coal slime made up of different proportions of clean coal and montmorillonite were studied in detail . The results show that the coarser of the particle size distribution and the lower the ash content，the better of the effect of pressure filtration; It also shows that the coal slime below 0.045 mm can hardly dewatered by pressure filtration. The correspondence relationship between the indicators and filter cake moisture was obtained, which may be of great significance for coal slime filter process optimizing.
